kk.. i'm feeling so uncomfortable! guess, cos im sick? that's why.
Virus spreading thru the boutique and colleagues are getting sick! like, sorethoart, cough, and flu! that goes without saying, FEVER!
anyhow, i got an off right at this day, and its a blessing to have a off on sat, esp right before new year huh! cos i dint managed to get my stuff done for new year. no new year clothes, shoes and stuff! os i went to get my hair curled this evening! ok la, kinda expected to be like what it was, but my mum dint like it! its still straight though, and she said looks like some dried up grass that has been chopped off by the gardener. haha!
i hope everything will go well as a new year approaches! of course, not gonna wish for smth bad to happen, though it always seems like it does!
Chinese Cinderella is a real nice book. i shed tons of tears upon reading this book. at times, it also mirrored the times where i sympathized myself for being a failure in accomplishing some matters. its so nice that, i took less then 24 hours to complete this book! (: the author has also pen down the thoughts and the unfair world that is being given to her, and there's no way that she can rebel, for she was only a small little child at the age of like 4 onwards??? hmmm .. its a nice book!
memoirs of a geisha is introduced by Tania, she said this book was nice, so i got it even before i finished the Chinese Cinderella.. I'm half way there, this book is also a quite sad book that actually tells the past life of a geisha and how she received ill-treatment when she and her sis was being sold to being a Geisha, at Kyoto. For 2 years, she did nth but being a maid of the geishas in the house. miracle happened, and at the end of the day, she became one of the top Geisha in Japan, Kyoto.
just received this book this morning in church. i guess, this book was passed to me as dawn instructed et to.. haha.. anyway, dawwny, i'll start my eyes on this book as soon as i'm down with the Geisha Book thingy! (: still contemplating on whether should i go to KL with mingus ! its a great idea though, but financially abit strained! haha.
