my colleague told me this “ in future, if you ever wana get married to someone, you have got to make sure that in that relationship, its a relationship that is a never-ending classroom. You learn something from the other party as each day passes, and not plainly staying onto the relationship for the sake of commitment.”

i kinda find it quite true, however, I've been sitting on this question for the past couple of days. How can this made possible? i find it rather difficult, near impossible. Reason being, different people have different perspective of seeing things. One might not agree to the other, which makes it rather difficult for communication to be carried out, thus causing sparks to be appear in the relationship.

Its not an easy task to carry out communication when the other party might not be willing to discuss a certain topic, especially “certain” subject that either side might find it too sensitive. I guess, everyone has their own secrets, or sometimes they might feel that its just not appropriate to tell them to their partners.

i don’t know, but i find it contradicting. Like certain issues, we might not be able to tell the opposite party, is mainly because we can’t and its not that we don’t want. Girls get sensitive when their boyfriend talks about their female colleagues, or even their buddy’s girlfriend and stuff, AND, we girls find it rather hard to relate certain topic to the other party, like which guy is cute, and who is going after them, and of course is their male friends ask them out for a movie or a simple dinner.

that answers to why, we keep certain stuff from our partner and we rather share it with the people we feel comfortable talking to.

I thought a relationship should be something that we should be “open” and comfortable with? If not, how are are couples suppose to get married for life??

am i right to say this?

tell me that i’m not and why.
